Chapter 13 Plan Payment Methods:
1. By Wage Order
- Plan payments are withheld by the debtor's employer and mailed
to the Trustee by the debtor's employer.
- This method is required by the Court for any
debtor who is employed.
- The debtor is responsible for making payments to the Trustee
directly until the Wage Order begins.
2. By Direct Payment
- Plan payments are made by the debtor in the form of a cashier's
check or money order and are mailed by the debtor to the Trustee
directly.
- This payment option is generally only available to debtors who
have a source of income other than employment income.
- No personal checks or cash are accepted. Payment must be in the
form of a cashier's check or money order.
- Payments must list the debtor's name and 7-digit case number
(ex. 00-60000).
- Monthly payments are due by the 20th of each month.
- Monthly payments shall be made payable to
"Standing Chapter 13 Trustee" and shall be mailed to:
